Maandag 6 juni 2011 - Onder de titel 'Social inclusion of the Roma in Europe – challenges, solutions', organiseren de Hongaarse ambassade in Nederland en het Clingendael Instituut te Wassenaar een conferentie op 14 juni over de integratie en ontwikkeling van Roma in Europa.

Hongarije als voorzitter van de EU heeft dat onderwerp hoog op de Europese agenda gezet, en in het kader daarvan wordt deze conferentie gehouden. Hoewel de situatie van Roma in Hongarije en Nederland van elkaar verschilt, zijn er ook overeenkomsten. Maar terwijl Hongarije een landelijke strategie ontwikkelt, heeft Nederland een meer regionale aanpak.

De conferentie vindt plaats in het Clingendael Instituut in Wassenaar op 14 juni 2011 van 13.00 tot 17.30 uur. Om de conferentie bij te wonen kunt u zich aanmelden bij Mevr. C.
